O2 were losing ground to competitors in Dixons Carphone, their biggest indirect partner. They needed to close the distance between front-line sales staff and the O2 brand and find a cost-effective way to engage them beyond costly face to face training.

Blue Chip developed ‘The Source’ – a fully interactive smart app offering ongoing engagement, education, content and rewards that could sit on the staff member’s own handsets.

With intelligent eCRM, data integration, push notifications, news articles, video content, interactive quizzes, reward delivery & reporting alongside WhatsApp and Workplace by Facebook integration, the app was downloaded by over 50% of staff achieving an average of 1.5 check-ins every week.
