When O2 were looking for effective ways to identify and recruit customers through whom they could distribute Pay & Go sims, they called on Blue Chip.
We created an advanced digital platform through which these ‘Star Traders’ could be rewarded . A dedicated CRM programme was rolled out to recruit and retain participants, offering an ongoing commission scheme per sim activation.
Additional seasonal promotions maintain interest and continue to drive engagement and sign-ups. So much so that it has become O2’s most profitable acquisition channel and has won effectiveness awards from both the IPM in the UK and the IMCC in Europe.
