This month sees the re-launch of all-new, completely modernized training platform ‘The Source’, as developed by Blue Chip.
The Source is used by Carphone Warehouse staff and O2 store representatives, both as a training tool for new starters joining the business, and for current staff needing an interactive platform for information on all things O2.
Blue Chip’s account team, in partnership with the agency’s planning squad, delved into the world of Carphone Warehouse advisors and store staff, undertaking on-the-ground research and obtaining face to face insights to help shape the project.
The answer was an agile platform in the shape of a mobile app, which would allow staff to access information on-the-go in a format they’re familiar with.
“We knew that the ability to convey real time communications through push messaging and regularly updated content would be key to the app’s success,” says Account Director James Mellor.
“We then needed to create key visuals that would keep the O2 communication in line with the brand tone of voice, but also in a language that would resonate with the youthful, savvy store advisors and wider Carphone Warehouse staff.”
The Source will be live in the next few weeks, with a launch event to cement its place as the go-to sales support platform for Carphone Warehouse crews.
