If we’re honest, we had a feeling we might be picking up a few IPM Awards this year, given the strength of the work the teams have delivered for our clients in the past year.
So when the annual IPM Award Ceremony came around, we thought we’d send a full complement of Chippers to ensure we could carry them all back to Manchester. Our crack team made the journey down to the Park Lane Hilton for our industry’s flagship event, celebrating the very best brand activation campaigns of 2018. But not in our wildest dreams did we imagine just what a great night we had in store!
This morning, we are taking home a total of 8 gongs on behalf of our treasured Essity and O2 accounts!
Our Plenty Incredibles2 campaign took home GOLD for repeat purchase, SILVER for On, in or with pack activation and BRONZE for Household, health, beauty and fashion and brand partnership, licensing, sponsorship and activation. (read more here).
O2’s Popcorn Pass also took home GOLD for ‘Shopper activation in an owned retail environment’, SILVER for Telecoms, Mobile and home tech and also in for the incentive, loyalty, reward or motivation programme and BRONZE in the integrated multi-touchpoint category (read more here).
Ian, our Client Development Director, said ‘to enter two campaigns and see them do so well against what was a strong year across all the categories is fantastic. We delivered some strong work in 2018 but these two campaigns really stood out given their high levels of engagement and strong return on investment, which is something we very much focus on across all of our campaign work at Blue Chip’.
‘It’s great to see our long-standing clients picking up awards for innovation and effectiveness across a multitude of categories’, said MD Nicky Thompson. ‘We’d like to thank the teams at both Essity and O2 for their incredible support in delivering these now award-winning campaigns. Here’s to many more in 2019!’
