Blue Chip are delighted to be working with McCormick to bring their hugely successful brands, French’s® and Frank’s RedHot® to life, helping to disrupt the shopper journey and engage their target millennial audience.
Both French’s® and Frank’s® are leading American condiment brands that individually boast over 100 years of history, heritage and authentic flavours that have stood the test of time.
The UK condiments category has undergone many changes in recent years as consumers are increasingly seeking fast flavour solutions that allow them to experiment and add excitement to their meals. These behaviours have been further driven by a surge in scratch cooking and consumers trying to emulate their favourite dining-out dishes in their own homes as a result of the pandemic.
Brands have responded with a plethora of NPD that is crowding the category and challenging the classic players, making it harder for them to be heard, especially during noisy seasonal events.
We’ve been appointed by French’s® and Frank’s® to maximise their visibility within key condiment occasions, and to capitalise on the evolution of in-home consumption as a result of Covid-19.
By communicating with the target audience at strategically timed points in their shopper journey we can disrupt them with messaging that resonates and drives action, cementing each brand in the mind of the shopper as a must-have condiment for key seasonal occasions.
