McCain’s First Ever Experiential Campaign Offers Free Chip Jumpers

16th October 2014

You’ve heard of jumpers for goalposts? Well now Blue Chip are bringing you jumpers for chips. To celebrate the return of its Chips for Tea ad to National TV, we’ve just launched McCain’s first shopper experiential campaign.

The activity offers ASDA customers the chance to immediately claim a FREE Chips Jumper (as seen in the TV ad) with any two packs of McCain products.

The campaign will be visiting 16 ASDA stores across the UK during October. Teams positioned at the entrance of stores will be distributing the jumpers to shoppers who present their proof of purchase upon exit.

Jayne Sawyer, McCain’s Brand Activation Manager said “the Chips Jumpers activity helps us get the McCain brand outside of the freezer aisle in a fun and engaging way. We successfully retailed these jumpers at Primark during the first airing of our TV ad back in February, now we are back on air we’ve extended our campaign into store.”

Myrtle Doyle, Group Account Director for Blue Chip London said “we’ve had a lot of fun developing a shopper campaign that delivers real stand out for McCain at the front of store, engages shoppers with a motivating reward and will ultimately drive sales”.
