We are delighted to be welcoming Sam Cox back to the Blue Chip fold following a nine month “special project”. Sam has been on maternity leave, bringing beautiful baby Tilly into the world and getting to grips with first-time motherhood.

Sam will be joining the Planning team as Retail Planner and should soon be making her presence felt on all matters retail.

Senior Planning Director, Kim Upton (formerly Coventry) is especially pleased to welcome Sam onto her team.

“This is an exciting move for Blue Chip which will strengthen an already-growing specialist strategic resource for our clients to tap into,” she says.

Sam already has tons of experience developing shopper-related activity for FMCG clients including PZ Cussons and Nestlé, and helped deliver Kellogg’s through-the-line Cash Calls campaign prior to taking maternity leave.

Managing Director Nicky Thompson has been passionate about finding the right role for Sam to come back to.

“You hear lots of stories in agency land about new mums being sidelined, or worse, totally overwhelmed by the dual role they now have to occupy,” she says. “Here at Blue Chip we’re whole-heartedly committed to not losing talented women from the mix just because they’ve followed their reproductive urges.”

Sam rejoins on 16th September.
