It’s Growing Up North – Manchester Gets Four New Starters
The numbers at Blue Chip Manchester are swelling more quickly than the rivers (yes, it’s raining) as we welcome four new recruits to the northern team.
Rachel Lofthouse joins as a Group Account Director having relocated from London for love (awwww!). She brings with her over 13 years of experience both agency and client-side, most recently with partnership marketing specialists Cherry.
“I’m looking forward to working across Blue Chip’s non-fmcg accounts,” she says, “nurturing relationships and ensuring our clients are aware of the agency’s wide-ranging capabilities beyond our current day-to-day remit.”
Jess Cook also joins from London as Account Manager. She recently left RPM London to escape the south’s terrifying house prices, and of course to join us lovely lot. She’ll be working on Bodyform, Tena and Rustlers – our most recent addition to our client list.
“It’s great to be joining in the early stages of a number of integrated campaigns planned for 2016,” she says. “But you’ll have to watch this space for more info.”
Also helping out on Bodyform and Rustlers is Alana Davis, a recent graduate of Advertising and Brand Management at Manchester University.
Alana already has a year’s experience under her belt following a placement year at giftware company Widdop Bingham where she worked with retail accounts including John Lewis and ASDA.
“I’m looking forward to putting both the theoretical and practical experience I’ve gained to date to work on these two fantastic and diverse brands,” she says.
Last but not least, Kaela Thurston joins the O2 team as Account Manager. She too has followed her heart to Manchester – all the way from Sydney Australia – and it hasn’t stopped raining since.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of the UK’s biggest and most well-known brands,” she says. “I’m also keen to get stuck into O2’s Priority offers… all in the name of research obviously”
A huge welcome to everyone and here’s to getting to know one another better at the Christmas Do!
