Our latest shopper marketing campaign ensures consumers enjoy perfectly cooked chips, every time, with a limited edition chip tray giveaway exclusive to Iceland shoppers.

The campaign launches on the 15th April for four weeks and is the first of its kind for the Frozen Category. It offers added value to the shopper whilst providing an in-home reminder of the brand and encouraging repeat purchase.

Working closely with a family-run business in the Midlands to develop the special trays, the unique design features ridges to lift the chips plus holes to optimise air flow, resulting in a perfectly cooked crispy chip with a fluffy centre.

“We have developed a campaign that firmly supports McCain’s position as the category leader”, says our Head of Shopper Vinney Ashurst. “Offering a branded utility will help ensure McCain is front of mind for shoppers both in-store and subsequently at home.”

Worth £5, the premium represents incredible value for the consumer, with the qualifying packs being available at an RRP of just £1.80.

There are 340,000 trays available, and the offer will be communicated through McCain branded counter display units, freezer backing boards, window posters and online banners whilst stocks last.
